In August 2008, Simonee completed a short documentary film, entitled Would You... It's a charming short comedic
documentary that asks - a not so simple question - to a variety of everyday individuals, would you throw away a bible?
The film explores people's morals, convictions and our sociological expectations through the answers of a diverse
group of people. Would You elicits candid and surprising responses, giving us all something to think about when we
ask ourselves the question - Would you? The film is currently being submitted to film festivals around the world.

Currently Simonee Chichester is one of 8 directors in residence at the Canadian Film Centre till January 2009. She is
busy collaborating with two writers in residence and has many projects in development, including two short dramatic
films, a feature dramatic film and one documentary, which is set to shoot on February 2009.

Along For the Ride is Simonee's third documentary set to begin shooting in February 2009. The road trip journey
explores Simonee's personal journey to connect to her Brazilian heritage while reaching a place of absolution as she
scatters the ashes of her father, Edgar, along the way. The film will be narrated by Edgar, who also impacts and helps
to map out the journey by way of old video footage where he speaks about his travels across Brazil. The film will be
shot by acclaimed director of photography Steve Cosens and will complete principle photography in March 2009.
