Chichester, an actor, wanted to develop film and TV projects while producing, music and live theatre events. The first project was Rejuvenate Live-a half-hour music-variety pilot, produced and hosted by, Simonee Chichester. In 2000, Simonee Chichester began managing bands and producing music events while continuing to perform and promote film and TV projects. In 2001 Simonee Chichester wrote two short films and began focusing on production. 2003 marked the beginning of an exciting journey with a feature length POV documentary film Chichester's Choice.

Chichester's Choice documents the personal journey of Simonee's search for her homeless father. The film officially launched My Friend Simonee Films. My Friend Simonee Films is committed to telling great stories for film and  TV.

The Next Chapter for Us, a documentary feature in development, produced by Nadine Pequeneza and directed & written by Simonee Chichester.

An intimate documentary that a follows filmmaker's personal quest to disperse her dads' ashes and explore grieving more thoroughly as a journey. The film looks at the universal issue of mourning, why and how we grieve and our need to say goodbye; as Simonee Chichester reaches a place of closure on the death of her father.

In an effort to answer universal questions presented to most in their 30's,In My 30's is a comedic and heartwarming look at people in their 30's struggling to identify themselves, find meaning and success in their lives. Through the POV of 32-year old filmmaker, Simonee Chichester, her daily video journals candidly speak about every aspect of her life including finances, love, body image and occupation. With self deprecating humor, honesty and vulnerability, Simonee shares her wins and defeats and also talks to others about life in their 30's. In My 30's promises to be an authentic and funny film that will open a dialogue with audiences everywhere.

Is a feature length documentary that follows Simonee Chichester as she investigates the life of her homeless father, Edgar Chichester, who left the family when she was six years old. Chichester's Choice has been produced with the support of The Canada Arts Council, The Toronto Arts Council and the NFB. The film will be released in April 2007
