As a filmmaker, she wrote, directed and produced REJUVENATE LIVE, a half-hour music variety show pilot and in

the personal story of Simonee reuniting with her homeless father in Brazil.
Simonee is a recent graduate of The Canadian Film Centre's director's lab. She is developing a dramatic feature film, WHITE PICKET FENCE that tells the story of a Brazilian beauty growing up with big dreams, whom later immigrates to Canada to attain the Americana dream but soon finds herself isolated in confronting a different culture while experiencing a bad marriage.
Simonee also has two dramatic shorts and one documentary feature, ALONG FOR THE RIDE in development.
Along For The Ride documents Simonee's exploration of cultural identity and absolution, by way of dispersing
her father's ashes on a road-trip through Brazil. It begins principle photography in February 2009.
